The tour originally aimed to introduce 1.5 million people to the awe-inspiring dinosaur cast, helping inspire the next generation of scientists and encourage families to explore nature on their doorstep. Since his Scottish debut on 22 January over 450,000 people have marvelled at the iconic diplodocus. Dippy is currently on display at Glasgow’s Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum, the fourth stop of the eight-venue-tour.
